Booking & payment
How do I book a trip?
Booking is done online through our secure module. Choose your excursion, pick a date and time slot, enter the number of passengers and complete payment. You receive a confirmation by email.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) through our secure booking platform. On-site payment is not available.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure with a full refund. Between 48 and 24 hours, we offer a free reschedule. Under 24 hours or no-show: no refund, except in cases of force majeure.
Safety & conditions
Do I need to know how to swim?
No, swimming skills are not required. All passengers wear a certified life jacket throughout the trip.
What happens in bad weather?
Safety comes first. The captain checks the forecast and decides at the latest 2 hours before departure. If the trip is cancelled due to weather, you get a full refund or a free reschedule.
Is the captain a professional?
Yes. Our captain holds captain and mechanic certifications, volunteers as a sea rescuer with the SNSM (French sea rescue) and trains boating licence candidates. He knows the Atlantic coast inside out.
The experience
What is the minimum age to board?
Children are welcome from age 4, accompanied by an adult. Children's life jackets are provided in every size.
How many passengers per trip?
Ty Papotte is certified for 12 passengers (excluding the captain). This small group size keeps comfort, safety and a quality experience.
What should I bring on board?
Bring warm clothes (even in summer, the sea wind is cool), a windbreaker, closed non-slip shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and a waterproof pouch for your phone. Life jackets are provided.
Gift vouchers
How does a gift voucher work?
You pick a voucher on our site, receive it by email as a PDF and pass it on. The recipient books online using the voucher code.
How long is a gift voucher valid?
Our gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the purchase date. They work for any of our excursions, subject to availability.
Can I gift a custom amount?
Yes, our « Liberté » voucher lets you choose the amount you want to gift. The recipient uses it as credit for the excursion of their choice.
